Real estate market has always been a market that is hard to predict. Similarly, the predictions for Texas real estate market had too remained uncertain sometimes gloomy and sometimes healthy. According to the records of media and real estate experts, the housing was bursting in 2007 as home values were dropping down and the Texas real estate market seemed to suck your blood.
Texas is among the largest mainland state with high population. The economy here has grown recently especially in few months. Mainly the agricultural products are dairy, corn, cattle cotton, poultry, nursery stock, sorghum and wheat and the industrial services related to them are include natural gas, chemical production and electric equipment, food processing, petroleum, machinery, tourism and mining.
Several Texas industries have developed like transportation, trade and utilities; professional, financial and business services; education and health services and even the governmental sectors. The rise and growth in industries in Texas, there is rise in new jobs, population and hence the demand for houses has increased. The Texas home value is rising.
Real estate listing in Texas proved that Statewide, existing home sales in May 2008 were down 15.4% from a year ago. Again, that was to be expected as the Texas building and sales bubbles had to subside eventually. According to the records the best report was received of Lubbock and McAllen. Home sales in the High Plains market declined only 0.5%, the least of any examined. McAllen's fell 1.7%.
The sales of existing homes were down in Austin by 20.6%, in Dallas by 14%, in El Paso by 33%, in Fort Worth by 13.8%, in Houston by 15.7% and in San Antonio by 23%. Since, Texas has some of the richest and poorest areas in the nation that is not too surprising.
Real estate marketThe present US real estate market is stagnant due to the reason that the buyers are not able to afford the price of buying real estates and they're also not able to get a financer.
